The CSM2568 is an integrated 58mΩ (TYP) power switch for self-powered and bus-powered Universal Series Bus (USB) applications. It’s also called a load switch.

The CSM2568 integrates an over-current protection circuit, a short fold back circuit, a thermal shutdown circuit and an under-voltage lockout circuit for overall protection. An open drain nFLG flag asserts low during over-current and thermal conditions (160°C/130°C) after a 15ms blanking time to prevent false reporting. This device employs soft-start circuit that minimizes inrush current in applications where highly capacitive loads are employed.

The device is rated over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range. It is available in the Green SOT-23-5 and SOT-23-3 packages.
